Golf Course Greenskeeper/Manager

Greenskeeper needed for 18-hole grass greens golf course located at Memorial Lake Regional Park, in Shell Lake, SK

Start Date April 1st (weather depended) 

End Date October 31st 

Desirable Certification and Training:

Turfgrass Certificate 

Pesticide Applicator License 

First Aid 

WHMIS

Driver’s License

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

1. Maintain the golf course, including fairways, rough, greens, water hazards and grounds.

2. Supervise, train and schedule all golf course maintenance staff

3. Apply, inventory, and maintain all pesticides in accordance with applicable laws, regulations

4. Operation and the maintenance of the irrigation system within the park.

5. Recommend and supervise the purchase, lease, installation and maintenance of golf course equipment and improvements

6. Coordinate tournaments and related activities in conjunction with the clubhouse manager.

7. Budget Planning

8. Work collaboratively with other park managers.

Wage: TBD on qualifications and  experience
